Whole Wheat Coconut Cookies

Healthy whole wheat cookies without any leavening agents/rising agents – no baking powder/no baking soda. Its an easy recipe to follow and bake and makes a great snack for kids tiffinbox and our evening snack as well

  • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp milk or as needed
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut for sprinkling on top of cookies
  1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until well combined

  2. Combine wheat flour and knead it into a smooth dough

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of milk and knead it well again

  4. Dip the ball onto a plate filled with coconut powder

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 150 degrees or until golden brown in colour
